LearnAU
Ashland University’s LearnAU team works with faculty to create remarkable teaching and learning experiences by enabling faculty to flourish and students to succeed. Using diverse learning tools, assets, and strategies to design positive learning solutions, we partner with faculty, subject matter experts, and students to build and continuously improve online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses at Ashland University and to inspire and educate teachers and learners alike.

College Credit Plus (CCP) / Dual Enrollment (DE)
Through Ashland University's College Credit Plus program, high school students with strong academic records can earn college credit and/or high school graduation credit by taking college courses at the University or at participating high schools.

Admission Requirements:
Admission to the CCP program will be granted to the student who satisfies the requirements of either pathway below.
CCP admission does not guarantee placement in any course. Students must be able to meet all placement and prerequisite guidelines.
Pathway 1: Traditional Admission:
Minimum 2.50 unweighted cumulative* HS GPA, plus one of the following assessment scores:
18 ACT Composite
970 SAT
Or ONE of the following Accuplacer scores: 250 Reading, 263 Writing, 263 Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra and Statistics (QAS)
Pathway 2: Test-Optional Admission:
Minimum 3.00 unweighted cumulative* high school GPA or
2.85 – 2.99 GPA unweighted cumulative* high school GPA with grades of “A” or “B” in the relevant coursework areas.
AU defines the relevant coursework areas as math, English, science, and social studies.
*A cumulative high school GPA must include at least one final grade in each of the relevant coursework areas.
Students who have not yet earned a final grade in each of the relevant coursework areas must currently have As and Bs only in those areas and take the Accuplacer Reading exam. A copy of the student’s grade card with grades for all the grading periods for the current school year to date should be sent by the school to collegecreditplus@ashland.edu.

Mission
Established to serve the needs of the Ohio economic community, the Office of Workforce Training and Development at Ashland University offers industry-driven, non-credit courses, programs, and certifications to support both workforce training demands and individuals looking to enhance and grow their professional careers or personal lives.

Telego Center for Educational Improvement
Mission
Our mission is to provide schools and other institutions with customized services that address education and business issues and represent the highest possible levels of professional expertise.

The Telego Center for Educational Improvement is a knowledge and skill-based resource offering customized solutions to educators and business professionals.
The Telego Center provides technical skills and expertise to school administrators and organizational leaders in meeting state and federal mandates, improving leadership skills, and enhancing performance.
The Telego Center operates under the auspices of Ashland University. The center’s personnel have all been or are currently associated with the public school system and business organizations throughout Ohio and other regional dates.
Continuing Education
Continuing Education offers students and adults an opportunity to take credit courses and non-credit seminars, workshops and courses. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are awarded for non-credit offerings, one CEU per 10 contact hours. Professional Development Units (PDUs) are offered for some workshops. Non-credit offerings include, but are not limited to, nursing home administration, real estate licensing, project management, banking, supervisor management, and social service.
Academic Research and Development Collaborative
This ideation group includes faculty and staff who collaborate for the purpose of collecting, synthesizing, and creating new learning opportunities for all Ashland University constituencies.
Testing Center
The Ashland University Testing Center provides institutional, instructional, professional, and assessment testing and services for students, departments, and the community.

Acadeum
On a very limited basis, Ashland University offers online course options through Acadeum, a consortium of other campuses across the country. Courses taken through Acadeum are considered institutional credit and impact a student's GPA and graduation requirements in the same way an AU course does. Registration for any Acadeum course is initiated by a student’s academic advisor and subsequently approved by the appropriate department chairperson as well as the host institution and Ashland University. There is no pre-approved list of course options.

The Center for Innovation and Teaching Excellence (CITE)
The Center for Innovation and Teaching Excellence (CITE) at Ashland University cultivates the growth and learning of faculty, advancing their development as teacher-scholars by providing and coordinating support, resources, and collaborative programs. By offering opportunities for faculty development, the Center sustains extraordinary learning experiences for students. The Center supports all internal faculty development grants, Fall and Spring Faculty College, the High Impact Teaching Summer Faculty Institute, the CITE Blackboard Organization: Resources for faculty, yearly professional development pedagogy and scholarship workshops, faculty learning communities, new faculty orientation programs, virtual teaching conferences, and maintains/schedules the CITE active learning classroom.
