FORMATION PASTORAL PERSON

(Taken concurrently with CHP 6601-CPE Unit) In this didactic component of CPE, students will be oriented to the theological and behavioral concepts that impact pastoral development. Clinical phenomenology will be highlighted while using the clinical method and active listening to foster the further development of theological reflection and pastoral identity. Topics will include pastoral identity, presence, assessment and conversation, and spiritual journey.
