HISTORY&POLITY OF GMC

This course examines the history of Methodism and Global Methodist polity. The history portion of the course will give special attention to Methodism's rise in England, its transition to America, its missionary character, and the issues that led to its many splits and mergers including the formation of the Global Methodist Church. The polity portion will cover the forming of Global Methodist polity, particularly as it applies to pastoral and church practices. [Fulfills the Global Methodist History and Polity requirement]
