CHILD & PLAY THERAPY

Prerequisite: CLC 5511 The treatment of children from several different theoretical orientations will be presented in this course. Because play is the language of children, much of the class time will be spent teaching play therapy techniques. Resources and equipment needed for treating children will be discussed. The course will include "hands on" experience of psychological methods used with children.
