Description
Prerequisite: CLC 5509 This course provides an understanding of the ideas, assumptions, goals, and methods of narrative therapy as they apply to the practice of clinical counseling. Conceptualization of client concerns from a narrative worldview, treatment planning, and the strategies and techniques for attaining treatment goals will be explored. Emphasis will be given to the varied needs of individuals, couples, and families seeking help.
