Description
This course delves into the interdisciplinary nature of the field that integrates such established disciplines as public relations, marketing communications, organizational communication, public diplomacy and more. Students will explore how organizations engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve their goals. Students will also learn how practitioners plan and implement communication strategies and shape leadership discourses in various organizational settings including corporations, nonprofit organizations, governments, political parties, and social movements.
