International Scholar Research

In this course, international scholars will observe the pedagogical methods of American teachers at Ashland University. Under the guidance of an ACCESS instructor, these scholars will create data collection instruments and then utilize these instruments to conduct research on personal areas of interest in the field of teaching based on their observations. The ACCESS instructor will set up courses for the scholars to observe three hours per week, and the instructor will meet with the scholars as a group for one hour at the end of each week to review progress and guide further steps in the research process.
