Reading & Writing Intermediate

ESL 24 Reading and Writing Level 2 is intended for students who have already studied English at an elementary level. It aims to improve the students' reading comprehension skills and coach them to become active and reflective readers. It also presents a wide variety of reading texts and vocabulary expansion activities. Students at this level will be working with the paragraph, and will explore the concepts of organization, unity, and coherence. They should also understand the role of the topic sentence, and work on transitions in multiple paragraph works. Students will also expand their range of sentence structures from simple to compound and complex.
