Advanced Speaking

Students will engage in high-level discussions and debates on academic and real-world topics, engage in a team academic project of 8-10 minutes with discussion, present a sophisticated research-based presentation of 10-15 minutes, learn to respond analytically and logically in debates, distinguish informal and formal register, paraphrase, clarify information, accurately cite sources, and volunteer with community organizations and present on the experience.
