Advanced Grammar

Students will be able to distinguish the form, meaning, and function of sophisticated grammatical structures with particular emphasis on the ways in which grammar is used for idea development and organization at the discourse level. Students will demonstrate the ability to use these structures in authentic situations pertaining to academics. Primacy will be placed on written proficiency over oral proficiency at this level.
