Western Communication Seminar

Students will write logical outlines, organized essays, and accurate reference pages. They will cite academic sources correctly in multiple essays and in a three-page research paper. Students will demonstrate the ability to analyze, interpret, and extrapolate on academic materials through their writing. In addition, students will demonstrate the ability to find reliable sources through multiple research projects. Students will express well-supported opinions and give appropriate responses in class discussions. They will demonstrate the ability to analyze, interpret, and extrapolate on academic materials, both written and spoken, through these discussions. Students will present researched presentations in a clear, understandable, and professional manner. They will prepare organized outlines with reference pages, and they will create attractive slide presentations.
