COMMUNICATING THE GOSPEL IN CONT SOCIET

This course will focus on the public preaching of the gospel and the regular use of the pulpit in the local church and larger gatherings. It will review recent literature on best practices in public preaching. It will examine the history of well-known successful preachers and their methods and models of preaching. It teaches students how to develop a lifestyle of reading and research that will inform their preaching and enable them to connect in a relevant way to their audience and their social context.
