KINGDOM-FOCUSED LOCAL WORSHIP

This course will focus on the local church as the context for corporate worship shaped by and oriented to the kingdom of God, viewing the church as an eschatological and prophetic community. It will explore the history of Christian worship, thereby providing a framework for an examination of the particular history of Vineyard worship, its values, practices and theological content. This particular tradition will then be placed in the wider context of similar contemporary church movements that have generated emerging traditions of contemporary worship.
