Description

What is Christian worship? Why do Christians worship? What order, forms and styles are most faithful? Most biblical? Most relevant? Why? How can worship be contextualized with integrity? These questions are the springboard for an exploration of Christian worship as it is understood and practiced today in the U.S. and around the globe. Contemporary, traditional, emerging, ethnic and world styles of Christian worship will be studied. REL208 Exploring Christian Theology is a recommended pre-requisite. The class is a Practical Theology concentration course for Religion Majors.
