Advanced Old Testament

An in-depth study of the Hebrew Scriptures focusing on selected sections and themes. Students will conduct literary analyses of OT texts while also examining ways in which narratives of the Hebrew Bible are used to formulate Jewish and Christian theology and ethics. This course satisfies a portion of the AU Core Requirement for the Humanities.
