MA.SEM.THECALLING - THE CALLING
Program Overview
Program Description
The Calling is an educational experience that brings together a group of modern-day disciples pursuing God's call on their life. It is a dedicated time set apart for them to better understand their call and to be equipped to follow that call. Incorporating a hybrid, in-person experience with the best of educational technology, participants can remain in their current career or ministry context with minimal disruption while being equipped to pursue their call. The 37-hour Master of Applied Bible and Theology provides a core competency in theology and biblical knowledge while preparing for practical application in a variety of unique personal, work, and ministry contexts. Three open electives (9 hours) allow for a more individual focus on Bible, theology and/or practical ministry appropriate to their calling. Students will have regular interaction with a scholarly faculty, who also have significant pastoral or ministry experience. All students will complete an integrative project as part.
