Crisis Management, Culture, & Violence Prevention in Schools

The primary responsibilities of school administrators is to ensure the safety and security of all school stakeholders. This course examines foundational concepts of school safety and security, through the stages of crisis management: planning, preparations, response, and recovery. This course also examines the application of basic theories and concepts of school climate and culture, specifically ways in which high expectations promote success for all students.
