Professional Development

Effective professional development plays a critical role in school success. This course prepares leaders with the knowledge and skills to develop, implement and evaluate effective professional development programs. Adult learning practices, professional learning communities, and other continuing education approaches will be examined. Participants will be expected to demonstrate effective utilization of knowledge-based skills related to adult learning, teachers and their world, and professional development.
